1.    Entry Requirements

(I)    A degree in Town Planning or a qualification, which is acceptable to the Hong Kong Institute of Planners (HKIP) as satisfying the academic requirements for exemption from the HKIP Qualifying Examination Part I and admission into the Qualifying Examination Part II.  The degree/qualification must be obtained in 2019 or after [Note(i)];

(II)   Meeting the language proficiency requirements of “Level 2” or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [Note (ii)]; and

(III)  Be a permanent resident of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of engagement unless specified otherwise.

 
Notes:   

(i)      Candidates without the requisite academic qualification stated in (I) above, but who are undergoing their final year study in the 2020/21 academic year may also apply; if selected, appointment will be subject to their obtaining the requisite academic qualification in the 2020/21 academic year.

(ii)     For appointment purpose, “Grade E” in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 is accepted administratively as comparable to “Level 2” in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.

2.          Training

The training vacancies are temporary posts. Graduate trainees are not civil servants and are not engaged on civil service terms and conditions.  Successful applicants will receive 2 years of practical training arranged by the Hong Kong Housing Authority under professional guidance meeting the training requirements of the HKIP.  There is no implication for further engagement in the Hong Kong Housing Authority after completion of the above training engagement.

 
3.          Training Honorarium

The current honorarium on entry is $23,010 per month.  The above amount of honorarium and the terms of engagement are subject to changes at the time the offer of engagement is made.  Graduate trainees are not civil servants and their training honoraria are independent of the civil service pay.

 
4.          How to Apply

Please apply with a completed application form [HD917 (Rev. 2015)].  Each application should be accompanied by:

(a)    a supplementary letter giving a brief account of past relevant training/experience and course projects;

(b)   a copy each of all official transcripts showing the results of all examinations taken at universities or other examinations leading to the award of a qualification recognised by the HKIP;

(c)    a copy of the degree certificate if acquired; and

(d)   a copy of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination, Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, certificates of the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination and other public Chinese language and English language examinations (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS, GCE, GCSE, HKSARG Common Recruitment Examination, etc.) showing the results achieved in Chinese language and English language in such examinations.

(i)

Applications not accompanied by the above documents will not be considered.    Applicants are encouraged to provide their email addresses on the application forms

 
(ii)

Copies of documents mentioned in 4(b) and 4(c) above may be passed to the HKIP for the purpose of confirming whether or not the qualification satisfies the academic requirements for corporate membership/admission into the HKIP.

(iii)

It is Government policy to place people with a disability in appropriate jobs wherever possible.  If a disabled candidate meets the entry requirements, he/she will be invited to attend the selection interview/written examination without being subject to any further shortlisting criteria. 見習規劃師(臨時見習職位空缺)
 

1.    入職資格

(I)    在2019 年或以後獲取城市規劃學位或認可學歷，此等學位或學歷須符合可獲豁免香港規劃師學會第一部分專業資格考試的要求，並且有資格參加第二部分考試 [附註(i)]；

(II)   符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科考獲第2級或以上成績，或具同等學歷 [附註(ii)]；以及

(III)  除另有指明外，申請人於獲聘時必須已成為香港特別行政區永久居民。

附註：
(i)      申請人現時未能具備上文(I) 項所述學歷，但現正修讀大學學位的應屆畢業生也可申請，申請人如獲錄用，必須在2020/2021學年內取得所需學歷資格才獲聘任。

(ii)        在聘任此職位空缺時，2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科(課程乙) E級成績，在行政上會被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科第2級成績。

2.    訓練

上述見習空缺屬臨時職位，見習生並非公務員，亦不會按公務員條款及條件僱用。 見習規劃師將會在香港房屋委員會安排下，接受符合香港規劃師學會要求的實務訓練，見習期為二年。上述訓練的僱用期滿後不表示會獲得香港房屋委員會繼續僱用。

3.    受訓津貼

 現行的入職津貼為每月23,010元。不過，當局在正式提出聘任時，可對聘用條款及以上津貼額作出調整。見習生並非公務員，而其受訓津貼亦獨立於公務員薪酬。

4.    申請辦法

         有意申請上述職位的人士，請填妥申請職位表格 [HD917 (Rev. 2015)]。每份申請須隨附下列文件：

  (a)        一封補充函件，簡述過往有關的訓練／經驗，以及在修業期間的課程習作；

  (b)       大學所有考試或其他符合香港規劃師學會認可學歷的所有考試的正式成績表副本；

  (c)        學位證書副本（若已取得學位）；以及

  (d)    香港中學文憑考試副本、香港中學會考證書副本、香港高級程度會考證書副本及其他中文及英文公開考試(如TOEFL, IELTS, GCE, GCSE, 香港特區政府綜合招聘考試等)證書副本，以顯示其中文及英文考試成績。

附註：
(i)         凡未附有上述文件的申請將不獲考慮。申請人請盡量在申請表格上提供電郵地址。

 (ii)      上文第4(b)及4(c)項所述的文件副本或會轉交香港規劃師學會，以便審核申請人的學歷是否符合成為該會正式會員／參加該會專業考試／訓練計劃的要求。

        申請人須於2021年4月16日或之前把填妥的表格連同所有證明文件送達九龍何文田佛光街33號香港房屋委員會總辦事處高級文書主任（委任）。請在信封面上註明「申請見習規劃師職位」。為避免郵件過期或未能成功派遞，在投寄前請確保信封面已清楚寫上正確地址及已貼上足夠郵資。所有郵資不足的郵件將不會派遞至本署，並會由香港郵政按情況退還寄件人或銷毀。申請人須自行承擔因未有支付足夠郵資而引致的任何後果。申請人所提供的資料，均絕對保密。所收集的個人資料，將只用於招聘香港房屋委員會僱員及有關用途。
