The Hong Kong Institute of Planners Awards 2023 – Result Announcement / 香港規劃師學會周年大獎 2023 - 結果公佈

The Hong Kong Institute of Planners (HKIP) Awards are given each year to honour the outstanding achievements of our members and related professionals in town planning. Through the delivery of Awards, we wish to raise public awareness of good planning principles and practice, and to encourage pursuit of excellence amongst planners in Hong Kong, mainland China and neighbouring areas.

香港規劃師學會每年都會頒發周年大獎予會員及相關專業人士，以表彰他們在城市規劃方面的傑出成就。透過頒發周年大獎，我們希望提高公眾對良好城市規劃原則及實踐的了解，並繼續鼓勵本地、內地及鄰近地區之規劃師追求卓越，精益求精。

Young Planners Awards (YPA) are introduced to reward active participation and contribution of our young planners to the planning profession in particular and community affairs in general, as well as to promote and foster professionalism, dedication and enthusiasm amongst themselves.

青年規劃師大獎旨在表彰傑出的青年規劃師對規劃專業及社區事務的積極參與及貢獻。同時，該獎項希望促進及培養青年規劃師的專業水平、奉獻精神及熱情參與。

This year, a total of nine projects are selected for HKIP Awards, including two projects for Silver Award, three projects for Certificate of Merit and four projects for Honourable Mentions, as well as one young planner for YPA. The awarded projects listed below have demonstrated various ways to inject new life into the city by integrating the innovative planning ideas and old social fabric, benefiting the local community, and contributing to promotion of the planning profession to the general public, and thus they serve as exemplars of other similar endeavours.  The awarded young planner, with distinguished achievements in and contributions to the profession and community affairs, can serve as a role model for her counterparts.

今年共有9個項目得獎項目，包括2個銀獎、3個優異獎和4個榮譽獎，以及1位青年規劃師獲得傑出成就獎。得獎項目展示為城市注入新活力的不同方法，運用新舊融合的設計、為社會帶來裨益，以及將規劃專業推廣予市民大眾，因而為其他同類項目立下典範。而獲獎的青年規劃師在規劃專業和社區事務上有卓越的成就和貢獻，為同輩樹立良好榜樣。
