“Be a Teen Town Planner – Planning for a New Era Community” Competition 2024 / 「做個青蔥規劃師 – 規劃新時代社區」比賽2024
Celebrating the 45th anniversary, the Hong Kong Institute of Planners (HKIP) joined hands with the Planning Department (PlanD) to co-organise the “Be a Teen Town Planner – Planning for a New Era Community” Competition for the very first time. Students were tasked with exploring Lau Fau Shan’s local character, planning issues and development potentials, and creating a sustainable development / conservation proposal. The competition has received overwhelming responses, with more than 30 participating schools and over 40 teams.
為慶祝香港規劃師學會成立四十五週年，本會首度與規劃署合作，舉辦「做個青蔥規劃師 – 規劃新時代社區」比賽。參賽同學需要探索流浮山的本地特色、規劃議題和發展潛力，並提出可持續發展或保育的方案。比賽反應相當熱烈，共有超過30間學校、超過40支隊伍參賽。
After careful consideration by our selection panel formed by professional town planners from PlanD and HKIP, eight teams had been selected to advance to the second round. Shortlisted students also had an opportunity to work alongside practicing professional town planners from both the public and private sectors, who served as mentors to provide them with professional guidance and insights during their preparation for the final presentation.
由規劃署及本會專業規劃師組成的評審團經過仔細考慮後，選出八支隊伍進入第二輪評審。今次比賽中，來自政府及私人企業的專業規劃師更擔任導師，為八支入圍隊伍提供專業指導和意見，協助他們準備最終匯報。
The Final Presentation Session and Award Presentation Ceremony was successfully held in November 2024. We are honored to invite the Director of Planning, Mr Ivan Chung; the HKIP President, Ms Amy Cheung; the Assistant Director/Technical Services of PlanD, Ms Johanna Cheng; and the HKIP Vice President, Ms Rebecca Wong to serve as our esteemed adjudication panel. The teams demonstrated their creativity and deep understanding on the planning issues in the study area by presenting their innovative proposals in various formats, allowing diverse possibilities for Lau Fau Shan’s future.
最終匯報環節及頒獎典禮於二零二四年十一月順利舉行。我們非常榮幸邀請到規劃署署長鍾文傑先生、香港規劃師學會會長張綺薇女士、規劃署助理署長／專業事務鄭韻瑩女士、以及香港規劃師學會副會長黃舜浣女士擔任評審團。八隊入圍隊伍透過不同形式介紹他們所提出的發展建議，質素極高，亦展現他們的創意及對研究範圍的深入了解，創造流浮山地區未來的無限可能。
