Obituary Notice

 In Memory of Professor LEUNG Cheuk Fai, Jimmy

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Professor LEUNG Cheuk Fai, Jimmy on 26 July 2023.

Jimmy was the President in 2003 – 2005 and a fellow member of the Institute. Over the years, he had made immense contributions in lifting the standing of the planning profession in Hong Kong by his devoted participation in various planning affairs and partnerships with other professions in the built environment sector. He is also remembered for his perseverance in building strong ties with Mainland counterparts and in upholding important planning principles.

As a dear friend, close ally and wise mentor to many of us, Jimmy will be sorely missed.  The Institute would like to express our deepest condolences to his family.

Details of the funeral arrangement will be provided in due course.

悼念梁焯輝教授

香港規劃師學會同仁懷著極沉痛的心情宣告，梁焯輝教授(Jimmy)於2023年7月26日安詳離世。

Jimmy 於2003年至2005年間擔任本會會長，並同時為本會的資深會員。在過去多年，Jimmy一直積極投入規劃事務及與其他建造專業緊密合作，亦與內地規劃同行建立了牢固的聯繫，並堅定恪守重要規劃原則，為提升香港規劃專業地位作出重大貢獻。

Jimmy在一眾規劃師心目中亦師亦友，我們將永遠懷念他，並謹在此向Jimmy家人致以最深切的慰問。
