The boundary stones used to delineate the boundary of Victoria City in the bygone era. It comprised four old harbour-front areas and later further expanded into nine districts. The Chinese community called it “Sei Wan Kau Yeuk” (Four Rings, Nine Districts).

Each stone is a prism of about 100 cm tall engraved with “CITY BOUNDARY 1903”. There are six boundary stones can be found in the Central and Western District currently. Two of them were located near Kennedy Town, one in the Kennedy Town Temporary Recreation Ground on Sai Ning Street and the other on Pok Fu Lam Road.
