What’s more, gamification can be combined with smart city technologies to promote urban sustainability.  Examples of gamified platforms that drive community-led sustainable design include Pokemon GO, Minecraft and Cities: Skylines, etc.  By transforming complex planning processes into engaging and community-driven ones, they empower citizens to express their views, and take an active role in shaping their communities.
