Town Planner (Ref: 2500007C) - MTR Corporation Limited

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify property development opportunities along existing and future railway lines 

  • Participate in the master planning process for optimal and sustainable property development, including conducting feasibility studies and preparing master layout plans for statutory and non-statutory submissions

  • Work with multi-disciplinary consultants on planning, urban design, and technical assessments, such as traffic and environmental aspects

  • Communicate with government authorities for approval of statutory submissions and endorsement of non-statutory proposals

  • Liaise with stakeholders and partners in the project planning and implementation stages

  • Monitor planning news for senior management and build a knowledge base for analysis

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline

  • A minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience is preferred

  • Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution is preferred

  • Excellent communication skill in both English and Chinese

  • Good commercial acumen is an advantage

 
Remarks

  • Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms

  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for a lower grade position
