Senior Town Planning Manager (Ref: 240000WR) - MTR Corporation Limited

Responsibilities

 

  • Initiate, lead and conduct research and studies to identify property development opportunities along existing and future railway lines both locally and outside of Hong Kong

  • Manage the master planning process for optimal and sustainable property development, including conducting feasibility studies, preparing rezoning proposals and mastering layout plans, for statutory and non-statutory submissions

  • Review town planning system and practice, property market and sites conditions

  • Manage consultants for work related to planning, urban design, environmental, traffic and other specialised topical areas

  • Responsible for communication with government, as well as statutory and non-statutory bodies, to obtain necessary approval of planning proposals and applications

 

Requirements

 

  • Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline

  • A minimum of 12 years’ relevant work experience, of which 4 years should be at managerial level

  • Possession of Corporate Membership of Hong Kong Institute of Planners or a recognised planning professional institution

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with ability to work independently

  • Sound knowledge of property development projects, as well as the ability and enthusiasm to overcome challenges

 

Remarks

  •  Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
