Event Coordinator for HKIP International Planning Conference 2025
Part-time. Duration: Dec 2024 to Aug 2025 (about 9 months)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced part-time Event Coordinator to join our event team to manage an upcoming landmark event for the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning, organizing, and executing government-funded events.
Duties and Responsibilities
Regular liaison with internal event teams, PR company, venue, contractors, and other external parties
To manage the event from concept to implementation, capable of coordinating the event team on pre-event logistics planning and on-site attendee registration
Manage and monitor projects in a timely manner
On-site support and delivery of events
To conduct post-event marketing and data consolidation; preparation of report and interim/final audits etc.
Other administrative tasks related to the event, as required
Requirements
Possess more than 5 years of local experience in managing and marketing for government-funded events
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management
Solid experience in graphic & video design/editing tools (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premier, Adobe After Effects)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint
Self-motivated, creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for promotions and events
Conversant in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Immediate availability is a prerequisite requirement
