Event Coordinator for HKIP International Planning Conference 2025

Part-time. Duration: Dec 2024 to Aug 2025 (about 9 months)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced part-time Event Coordinator to join our event team to manage an upcoming landmark event for the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning, organizing, and executing government-funded events.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Regular liaison with internal event teams, PR company, venue, contractors, and other external parties

  • To manage the event from concept to implementation, capable of coordinating the event team on pre-event logistics planning and on-site attendee registration

  • Manage and monitor projects in a timely manner

  • On-site support and delivery of events

    To conduct post-event marketing and data consolidation; preparation of report and interim/final audits etc.

  • Other administrative tasks related to the event, as required

Requirements

  • Possess more than 5 years of local experience in managing and marketing for government-funded events

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management

  • Solid experience in graphic & video design/editing tools (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premier, Adobe After Effects)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Self-motivated, creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for promotions and events

  • Conversant in English, Cantonese and Mandarin

  • Immediate availability is a prerequisite requirement
