Full-time Assistant Urban Planner (Transport) / Assistant Urban Analyst - Participatory Professional Services Limited (PPSL)

Participatory Professional Services Limited (PPSL) is now looking for a suitable candidate for a full-time Assistant Urban Planner (Transport) / Assistant Urban Analyst who is passionate about city development.

PPSL would provide the on-job training for those having the potential, and successful candidates would be able to achieve the following learning outcomes:

  • Collaborate effectively with planners, transport planners, and sub-consultants;

  • External liaison with contractors and clients;

  • Master-planning Road Network design techniques;

  • Professional report writing techniques;

  • Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) complex modelling techniques;

  • Enhanced visual expression skills; and

  • Smart mobility application skills.

 

Requirements:

  • Fresh Graduate or up to 3 years working experience (Less experience will be considered as Graduate Urban Planner (Transport) / Urban Analyst); 

  • Interested in transport planning consultancy projects;

  • Willing to learn and explore latest skill sets;

  • Knowledge in Excel, Micro-Station/AutoCAD/Revit is a plus; 

  • Knowledge in coding / computer science is a plus;

  • Immediate availability will be an advantage;

  • Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently; and

  • Immediate availability will be an advantage. 

 

Job Description and Responsibilities:

  • Assist urban analytics / transport planning and engineering project design works;

  • Prepare calculations & drawings and / or transport modelling;

  • Prepare TIAs and design Temporary Traffic Management Schemes; 

  • Arrange Traffic Survey and prepare Survey Report;

  • Assist and participate in smart mobility projects; and

  • Liaise and coordinate with other professionals, experts, consultants, Government bodies and authorities etc.
