Recruitment for Junior/Senior/Associate Level Urban Planner or Urban Designer - AECOM ASIA COMPANY LTD

AECOM’s Urbanism & Planning practice has been a guiding force in land-based planning, providing services in strategic planning, master planning & urban design, landscape design, tourism planning, economics consulting and development consultancies.  We have led and taken part in numerous multi-disciplinary planning, design and engineering feasibility studies for new metropolis/new town development, urban renewal, public realm, underground, as well as themed, mixed use and business infrastructure development projects in Hong Kong and overseas for both public and private clients.

For Senior/Associate level Urban Planner or Urban Designer position, candidates should ideally possess:

  • A degree in Urban Planning / Urban Design / Architectural Design, or other related fields;

  • A minimum of 5 years postgraduate experience in the urban planning, urban design or related field (applicants will less experience will be considered for other level positions);

  • Membership/qualification in Hong Kong Institution of Planners/Hong Kong Institute of Urban Designers, or equivalent;

  • With a strong passion to shape the development of Hong Kong;

  • Knowledge in the planning and development process in Hong Kong;

  • Experience in management/ leadership of multi-disciplinary planning and urban design projects;

  • Drive for excellence at the workplace, a good team player and ability to work under stress;

  • Creative with strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills to manage projects and teams and to establish networks;

  • Good written and presentation skills, and fluent in design and presentation softwares;

  • Knowledge of 3D Studio Max or other 3D softwares an advantage.

For Junior Urban Planner /Urban Designer position, candidates should ideally possess:

  • A degree in Urban Planning / Urban Design, or other related fields;

  • Knowledge and experience in urban planning/urban design/landscape design projects in Hong Kong an advantage;

  • With a strong passion to shape the development of Hong Kong;

  • Drive for excellence at the workplace, a good team player and ability to work under stress;

  • Creative with strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

  • Good written and presentation skills;

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, and a keen eye for aesthetics and details;

  • Fluent in design (2D and 3D) and presentation softwares.
