Assistant Development Manager – Planning

Responsibilities

  • Conduct planning research, analyses as well as feasibility studies to identify and evaluate investment potential

  • Provide strategic advice on submission of planning applications, formulation of Master Layout Plan and technical assessments and fulfilment of planning conditions

  • Liaise and coordinate with in-house professional teams, external consultants and Government departments regarding planning and development matters

  • Assist in preparing development applications and handling other land related matters

  • Conduct regular reviews on the latest town planning legislations and guidelines and identify implications of planning approvals and approval conditions on the existing and potential projects

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Town Planning / Urban Design or equivalent with minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in reputable planning consultants / property developers in Hong Kong

  • Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Planners (HKIP) or the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or equivalent is preferable

  • Familiar with statutory planning system in Hong Kong

  • Creative thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

  • Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese
