Manager, Planning and Design - Urban Renewal Authority
The Urban Renewal Authority (“URA”) is tasked to undertake urban renewal in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a holistic approach to urban renewal with redevelopment and rehabilitation as its core businesses.
Manager, Planning and Design
(Ref. M(P&D)-P)
Responsibilities:
To undertake project planning and design works for assigned redevelopment, revitalization and/or preservation projects and for assigned action areas
To assist in formulating holistic planning strategy on restructuring and planning of built environment to support district based urban renewal
To assist in preparation of Preliminary Project Feasibility Study, development project/scheme proposal, planning reports and all necessary technical assessments
To conduct planning submissions and deliver necessary presentations
To monitor consultants performance and progress of assigned projects, steer and manage required project deliverables
Requirements:
Degree holder in Town Planning or related discipline
Recognised professional planning qualifications, e.g. HKIP, RTPI, CIP, PIA, RPP
At least 8 years’ relevant experience, with hands-on experience in urban planning/design in Hong Kong
Hands-on experience to leverage on geospatial analysis and GIS-aid application for urban planning/design
Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese
