DEVELOPMENT/ TOWN PLANNING MANAGER (Ref No. IAP/PR188/21)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in town planning or equivalent

  • Professional Member of HKIP or equivalent

  • Minimum 8 years' relevant experience, of which 2 years at supervisory level

  • Good management and communication skills

  • Able to work independently

  • Good commercial acumen is an advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate, lead and conduct researches and studies to identify property development opportunities in Hong Kong & Mainland China

  • Manage the master planning process for optimal property developments, which includes conducting feasibility studies and preparing master layout plans for statutory and non-statutory submissions

  • Review the town planning system and practice, monitor property market, initiate necessary sectoral studies

  • Manage consultants on planning proposals and applications

  • Negotiate with government departments to obtain necessary approval of planning proposals and applications
