 Senior Manager (Planning & Development) [Ref: SM (P&D)-HKIP/RTPI]

The Job:

  • Initiate and conduct researches and studies to identify housing development opportunities in Hong Kong.

  • Conduct researches and analyses for planning and development feasibility studies.

  • Provide support to in-house teams on town planning, urban design, and other related technical expertise.       

  • Prepare submission of planning briefs, planning applications and impact assessments.

  • Manage the master planning process for housing developments.

  • Lead and coordinate with the consultant teams related to planning matters.

  • Liaise with Government authorities and different stakeholders to facilitate the planning and development processes.

The Person:

  • Bachelor's degree in town planning or equivalent.

  • Professional Member of HKIP or equivalent.

  • 12 years’ relevant experience with minimum 8 years' pro-qualification experience, of which 5 years at managerial/supervisory level.

  • A proactive approach, good analytical and problem solving skills, the ability to work independently, under pressure and to meet critical project deadlines.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and relevant design/presentation software.

  • Applicants with less experience may be considered for the post of Manager (Planning and Development).
