Project Co-ordinator, Planning and Design - Urban Renewal Authority
The Urban Renewal Authority (“URA”) is tasked to undertake urban renewal in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a holistic approach to urban renewal with redevelopment and rehabilitation as its core businesses.
Project Co-ordinator, Planning and Design
(Ref. PC(P&D))
Responsibilities:
To assist in procuring, managing and monitoring consultants engaged in the planning and implementation of assigned projects and activities in the action areas
To assist in the preparation of planning report, visual impact assessment, Stage I and Stage II Social Impact Assessment reports for assigned projects
To assist in preparing various planning submissions
To assist in developing Urban Renewal Information System to support new initiatives for urban renewal arising from various studies
Requirements:
Degree holder in Town Planning, Urban Design, Project Management or related disciplines
Student member of a professional institute in planning and design i.e. HKIP, HKIA, HKIUD or equivalent
Minimum 2 years’ relevant work experiences
Basic knowledge in Geographic Information System (GIS)
Knowledge of MS Office PowerPoint presentation and other software as essential
Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese, knowledge in Putonghua is an advantage
(Candidates with master degree qualification in above disciplines but with less experience will also be considered for the post.)
