Planning Awards 2024
> Introduction
In celebration of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Institute of Planners (HKIP), following the great success of the inaugural event to promote the planning and development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), and foster closer collaboration with the Mainland China and Macao counterparts, The HKIP will host the "Greater Bay Area Planning Awards 2024".
The theme of this year's awards is “Sustainable Urban Development: Integration and Utilisation of Blue-Green Resources”. Through this award, we aim to recognise the importance of "blue" and "green" resources in the planning process, raise public awareness of sustainable urban planning and development, enhance our cities' resilience through the application of excellent planning principles, and encourage industry professionals involved in GBA development to create sustainable, livable and human-centric cities.
