Mr. Michael L. Marrella, Director, Waterfront and Open Space Planning, City of New York is visiting Hong Kong from 13 to 19 March 2016. He is an instrumental figure in waterfront planning in the New York City Government. He has kindly accepted our invitation to give a talk on New York’s Waterfront. Please join the seminar and we can take the opportunity to exchange views with Mr. Marrella on the long-term waterfront planning in New York and Hong Kong.

About the Speaker:
Mr. Michael L. Marrella was appointed to his current post as the Director, Waterfront and Open Space Planning, Department of City Planning, City of New York in July 2011. He directs waterfront, open space, and coastal resiliency policy for the Department and advises the Chair and members of the City Planning Commission on the planning and land use issues affecting waterfront and open space areas. He is also the Visiting Assistant Professor at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, New York.
